Our Veterinary Technicians

Jennin Tremelling (Senior RVT)

Pets have always been a part of my family and as a young child, I knew that I wanted a job dealing with animals on a day to day basis. After graduating from Ridgetown College in 1995 as a Veterinary Technician, I wrote the Veterinary Technician National Examination to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have been a member of the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians since 1995 (the same year I joined the Algoma Vet Clinic team) and take part in continuing education. I enjoy my companion animals as well as spending time in the barn and riding horses when I get the chance.

Talia MacFarlane (Registered Veterinary Technician)

Talia lives on St Joseph Island and started working at the clinic in May 2014. She went to Northern College in Haileybury for 2 years and graduated in 2014 as a Veterinary Technician. The next summer she wrote her VTNE to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has two cats named Charlotte and Leo, 1 dog named Cooter and 2 bunnies. In her spare time she likes to go fishing, camping and spending time on the lake.
